Alex "Zabu" Szuba

Alex is currently attending SUNY-ESF perusing a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Science. They are the Club President of ESF's Roots and Pursuits which teaches natural skills such as friction fire and hide tanning as well as teaching traditional ecological knowledge to students. Born in Rochester NY, they've always had an interest in the outdoors, from others or by themselves. Always game to learn something new, and enjoys teaching what he knows as well. Favorite natural skills are friction fire and scout skills, including stalking and tracking. Alex is exited to work this summer as an AmeriCorps volunteer for Primitive Pursuits, and can't wait to explore!
