Barbara Ann Jordan
is a passionate artist who loves to see what makes people truly happy and sparks their creativity.
While inspiring a playful spirit and curiosity for life, Barbara Ann is deeply rooted in creating a space where everyone belongs. The natural world is her inspiration. Barbara Ann began her career in outdoor education in 1995 working with Kids to the Country, in Summertown TN. In 1997 she got her Reiki Masters and has been exploring healing modalities ever since. While she still has dreams of being a famous Artist in a big City, she always comes back to the feeling that “life can’t be captured, it must be lived.” At Primitive Pursuits Art is Alive. She incorporates her years of study in the Arts, acting, drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, dance, martial arts, healing (and more) into her teaching practices. She has worked with Primitive Pursuits for 10 years, working first with Home school and summer camps and most recently with Forrest Preschool. She occasionally works with Earth Arts and started an all girls teen program, Daughter’s of the Earth, in 2007.
Her Nature Connection has always been a guiding light in her life and she is yet to find words to explain it, but she quite literally Dance’s with the Wind.
