Megan Ginley

Field Staff

Megan spent her childhood in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. mucking through creeks and adventuring at the beach any chance she got. She received her bachelors in Humanities, Science, and the Environment from Virginia Tech where she did her capstone project on the importance of early environmental education. After graduating, she moved to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State to work for Americorps, primarily serving the Lower Elwha Klallam tribe. She moved to the redwoods of California where she worked for two different outdoor schools , then a Montessori preschool in Santa Cruz before moving to Ithaca. She's currently pursuing her 1-6 credential and masters online while subbing in ICSD and nannying. She plays roller derby for Ithaca League of Women Rollers and rugby for the Ithaca Avengers and thinks that if that sounds cool to you, you should consider joining both teams or coming to watch us play.
