Nina is so excited to be at Primitive Pursuits this summer! While she's been doing environmental education and working with youth for several years now, this will be her first summer teaching primitive skills to kids. Her own journey with earth skills began in 2010 at the Tom Brown Jr. Tracker School. She spent her college years studying science and philosophy surrounded by the Catskill Mountains and the Hudson River. Since 2013, She's been living in Philadelphia, PA (her birthplace), where she enjoys hiking the trails of the Wissahickon and volunteering with Girls Rock Philly. Her favorite primitive skills are making fire and cordage. In her free time you might find her painting, hula hooping, or reading.
