Wilderness Year Participant 2016-17

Hailing first from the swamps and mud flats of Florida, and second from the inlets of Puget Sound, WA, Tiffany is not surprised to find herself in the Finger Lakes region, living so near another large body of water. A lifelong lover of the outdoors and the beings that inhabit it, Tiffany has pursued backpacking and rock climbing, studied permaculture, began an edible insects club in her previous home of Olympia. She also enjoys making art inspired by nature. Tiffany hopes to become a better human by learning to understand the language and signs of animals, and is determined to geek out over biomechanics and morphology whenever possible during Wilderness Year.
