Aly has spent the last 6 years teaching and farming for environmental education programs all over the country in the woods, in farm fields, in children’s gardens, and on the Cape Cod coastline. Some over her favorite topics to teach about are flowers, vegetables, fire, and ecosystem interactions. She also has a background in theater, and loves when storytelling and creative play are woven into nature discovery.
Aly’s love of community gardens and the outdoors led her to Cornell, where she just finished her first year of a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Food Systems. She learned how great it is to be on a camp administrator team last summer as a Program Director for an all-girls residential camp, and is excited to spend another summer working to help staff and campers have the best summer ever!
