When I moved to Ithaca as an 8 year-old, I was shy and unsure about my new home. The first thing I tried was a Primitive Pursuits camp and I loved it from day #1. The chance to be in and learn from nature is so important to me. I was a camper for years and then was thrilled to volunteer as an MIT. I am so happy to now be a Teen Assist. Every year I look forward to camp. I appreciate being in the forest with the Primitive Pursuits community. I hope to help kids find a place where they can learn about the forest and themselves, and feel at home.
