Astrid grew up running around the woods of Ithaca with Primitive Pursuits, and is excited to be back for her 6th year as an instructor! She recently graduated from Ithaca High School and is headed to McGill University in the fall, likely to study anthropology and education. In her free time, Astrid loves getting to know the natural world around her, crafting and cooking, writing, making music, and soaking up the sun. Primitive Pursuits’ mission to further young people’s connections with the outdoors resonates deeply with Astrid, and she hopes to do what she can to support this mission and our amazing community! She is looking forward to another summer of new skills, songs, and laughs!
