Sora has been part of primitive pursuits for almost eleven years. She grew up participating in the Thursday homeschool program and summer camps, which helped foster her love for the outdoors. Her first memory at primitives was the day her group went to the big creek and found a crayfish with eggs under her tail. This passion for nature led her to MIT, and now she works as a Teen Instructor during the summer months. Sora is fascinated by herbalism and edible plants, basketry, and all types of art from singing, to dancing to painting with rock paint. She hopes to continue to grow these nature skills throughout the summer, during her gap year in Japan, and at college where she would like to major in environmental science. Sora loves being part of this program and she would like to give a big thank you to everyone who keeps this community together.
