Daniel has been exploring the woods around 4-H Acres for his entire childhood. Born in Michigan, Daniel has lived in Ithaca since he was 3 years old. Enrolled in Primitive Pursuits for many years as a camper, Daniel then became a CIT and counselor in the program. Exploring, fire making, and bow craftsmanship are some of his favorite hobbies that he loves to teach to kids at Primitive Pursuits. When not teaching Daniel can be found running, skiing, hiking, holding his chickens, practicing martial arts and trying to get into college in the hills and gullies of Ithaca and beyond!
