Week 8 was crafty!

Week seven was filled with activities to draw attention to our five senses…

Our sixth summer week in the woods was full of mammals, forts (and a least one superhero).

Our 5th summer week had campers traveling far and wide.

Our 4th week of summer 2022 was shelter themed..campers had a chance to build shelters big and small.

Our third week in the woods was full of laughter and a focus on birds!

Week two was a magical week of sun and rain.

Summer 2022 got off to a great start with campers coming together for the first summer week of exploration at 4-H Acres!

With just two weeks to go, we are savoring every moment in the woods together. Here are a few shots from the fun we had during week 8 of summer 2021. Sadly, this is the last week we have our photographers Amy and Joe on board.

Week 7 is already here and gone as summer seems to fly by in a whirl of friendships, community, epic games, nature crafts, and non-stop exploration!

Week six had campers back up at 4-H Acres doing everything from creating outdoor culinary delights to tanning hides.

Week 5 is always an adventure as we vacate 4-H Acres to make room for the 4-H Youth Fair! Some campers traveled all over this week with River Scouts while others were up on West Hill or in Ellis Hollow.

Week three flew by in a blink of sun and rain.

Our final week of camp was bittersweet, but wait…a lucky few will be with a small camp cohort next week for bonus week 11!

More adventures and fun to be had at 4-H Acres during week 5!

Primitive Pursuits branched out to natural areas all around Ithaca this week, expanding far beyond 4-H Acres.

Our third week of camp was another week of adventure and fun as campers explored the woods and waters at 4-H Acres.

Week 2 was a hot one and campers enjoyed cooling off at the creek and Sean’s giant grass rope challenge!

Our very first week of camp 2020 was our first opportunity to test out our new protocols and start the summer fun.

Summer 2020 is looking a bit different but we are off and running.
