The following was sent to all attendees of our school-age programs. We have separate guidelines for our preschool programs.
Traditional Thanksgiving gatherings with family and friends are wonderful but run the risk of increasing the chances of getting and or spreading COVID-19. The safest way to celebrate Thanksgiving this year is to celebrate at home with just the people in your household.
In accordance with our current COVID-19 policies: If you plan to spend Thanksgiving with people outside your household before you return to our programs we expect that, in addition to any local and state guidelines and requirements, you will:
- Take at least one week off before returning to your program AND get tested for COVID-19 with a negative result
OR - Take two weeks off before returning to your program without showing symptoms of COVID-19
Please note that this is our current expectation which could change with any updates to local and state guidelines.
