Let me set the scene: A slight chill in the air that brings color to your cheeks and a sting to your ears. Shiny, sharp rays of sunlight slipping through the trees and heating up small spots on your face. Hoards of kids running up and down the grass, talking to one another in excited voices, eager to get on with their day at camp.
Week 5 is always an adventure as we vacate 4-H Acres to make room for the 4-H Youth Fair! Some campers traveled all over this week with River Scouts while others were up on West Hill or in Ellis Hollow.
Another beautiful week in the woods.
Week three flew by in a blink of sun and rain.
A bit of extra water this week didn’t keep campers from enjoying every day to the fullest!
Our first week of summer camp was a resounding success!
